LBWC Annual Rummage Sale
Looking for treasures, unusual items, household goods, clothing, who knows what? Attend the Lemon Bay Woman’s Club annual rummage sale at 51 N. Maple St., (corner of Maple and Cocoanut, just one block north of Dearborn St). $5 Shop Early admission from 9-11am on Friday, January 26. Free admission on Friday, January 26 from 11am-2pm and on Saturday January 27 from 9am-2pm. A light lunch will be available. Proceeds will go to local charities and to the upkeep of the clubhouse that is on the National Register of Historic Places. For additional information, call 474•9762.
The American Legion Auxiliary Unit #113, 3436 Indiana Rd (off Cape Haze Dr.), Rotonda West is hosting a Fun Auction on Saturday, February 3 at the Post. The auction starts at 11am and will be calling winners at 1pm. Special auction items will be available from local businesses along with gorgeous homemade items, delicious bake sale items, and special prizes. There will be food available. Card Party at St. Francis
The St. Francis Women’s Guild Card Party will take place on Wednesday, February 7. Doors open at 11am with lunch served after 11:30am. Play cards or board games until 2:30pm at the Parish Hall located at 5265 Placida Road, Grove City. Please make your reservation by Monday, February 5 by calling the office at 697•4899. The tickets are $7, which includes lunch and door prizes. 50/50 tickets are available – 3 for $1. All players are welcome. No walk-ins please.
Valentine Dinner Dance Planned
American Legion Auxiliary Unit #113, 3436 Indiana Rd, Rotonda West, will be hosting its Be My Valentine Dinner Dance on Saturday, February 10 to be held at the Post. The menu will include a Prime Rib Dinner w/salad, baked potato and vegetable, and dessert. Cocktails are at 5pm, dinner at 6pm and music by Moments to Remember at 7pm. Ladies receive a free flower, a King & Queen will be announced, and there will be door prizes! Open to the Public. Reserve your tickets by February 5.
