Betty Badawi and Sybil Broh rehearse piano duets for the Venice Musicale concert to be performed on Thursday, November 16 at 3pm. Venice Musicale will take the audience on a “Voyage to Vienna” for its concert at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice, 1971 Pinebrook Road, Venice. The program will feature piano and vocal pieces by composers who lived, worked or studied in Vienna from the 18th century to the early 20th century as well as more recent works that reflect the influence of Viennese culture. From the classical music of Mozart, Schubert and Brahms to the lighter works of Johann Strauss Jr., Franz Lehar and Sigmund Romberg, the program is sure to appeal to all lovers of good music. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations will be welcome to support Venice Musicale’s scholarship program.
