Draped in Jewelry
www.facebook.com/drapedinjewelry My journey to the world of jewelry design evolved accidently. I spent many years playing in the paper art world, making books and rubber stamping. One day in 2003, after stamping a polymer clay pendant, I decided I needed to bead a chain on which to hang my newly created pendant. Jewelry designing took over my world!
I have taken many informal classes through the years but I am primarily self taught. My designs have incorporated many different types of materials; sterling and fine silver are my primary metals, wire weaving and metal forging is my current passion, with complements of natural stones, fresh water pearls, artisan glass and Swarovski crystals.
I have a selection of classes I enjoy teaching at the Arts Alliance. I do custom work, creating a design to meet a desire. I sell through local shops, my website and I have a home show program. Nancy’s jewelry is on display at The Arts Alliance of Lemon Bay. 452 W. Dearborn Street, Hours: Mon.-Sat. 10am- 5pm
