LBPH Presents 'Crimes Of The Heart'

For the fourth production of its 31st season, the Lemon Bay Playhouse, 96 W Dearborn St., will present “Crimes of the Heart”, a comedy written by Beth Henley and directed by Ron Bupp. The show will run January 17 through February 11. The three MaGrath sisters are back together in their hometown for the first time in a decade. Lenny, the eldest, never left home. Meg, the middle sister, left home to pursue stardom as a singer in Los Angeles, but that happiness has eluded her. And Babe, the youngest, has just been arrested for allegedly shooting her abusive husband. Under the scorching heat of the Mississippi sun, past resentments bubble to the surface and each sister must come to terms with the consequences of her own “crimes of the heart.” Info and tickets are available online at lemonbayplayhouse.com or by visiting or calling the Box Office 475•6756 between 10am and 2pm weekdays and one hour prior to curtain time. Reserved seat tickets are $20; students $14. Group sales tickets are available at a reduced cost. For information please call the Business Manager at 474•9610. The cast for LBP performance of “Crimes of the Heart” are seated (left to right), Patty Tuff (Lenny), Sarah Sita (Babe), and Ruth Shaulis (Meg). Standing (left to right) are Rick Moore (Doc), Kathi Faulkner (Chick), and Zachary Covell (Barnette).
