Christmas on Dearborn, 2018 was a smashing success on Saturday, December 16. By estimates, between 2,500 and 3,000 people attended. The merchants were pleased and the children were thrilled to sit on Santa’s lap after the Marching Mantas led Santa in. There were free bike raffles, a variety show, craft stations including cookie decorating and ornament decorating, and a scavenger hunt along Dearborn Street. But the really big hit was the snow making machine provided by Castle Air. Kudos to Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary for organizing the event. The Rotary Club wishes to thank Caroll Swayze for her paintings skills. Pictured on the left, Milania Dzembo sits with Santa.
