Robert Roy Dahlin

Robert "Bob" Roy Dahlin died surrounded by family on Thursday, March 9th, 2018 in Venice, Florida at the age of 65. 

Bob was born on May 21st, 1952 in Geneva, Illinois to his parents, Robert and Margret (Peg) Dahlin. He married Pamela Hunt in Las Vegas, Nevada in 1978. Bob worked as a union tile setter while raising their family in St. Charles, Illinois. He retired in 2009 and relocated to Englewood, Florida where he enjoyed fishing, working on his motorcycles and cars, spending time with friends working on home projects, and a weekly game of golf.

Bob is survived by his wife, Pam Dahlin of Englewood, FL ; daughter and son-in-law, Laura and Scott Pond of Elburn, IL; his son and daughter-in-law, Charlie and Leslie Dahlin of Elburn, IL, grandchildren, Jordan, Benjamin, Easton, Payton and Brinley; his sisters Mary Ellen (Mare) Radke and Virginia (Beany) Dahlin. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Peg Dahlin.

There will be a celebration to remember Bob on Tuesday, March 13, 2018. There will be a gathering starting at 1pm, with a celebration at 2pm at Lemon Bay Funeral and Cremation Services in Englewood, FL. In lieu of flowers, please feel free to donate to the American Cancer Society or to the family for a tree and memorial stone to be planted in his honor.
