Thomas Michael Sherer

Thomas (Tom, Tommy) Sherer, 55 of Englewood, Florida went to be in the arms of Jesus on April 4, 2018. Tom was born August 14, 1962 to Jerry and Betty Sherer.
Tom was nothing less than a free spirit. He loved the outdoors and doing the extreme. He was a very selfless person and would do anything for anyone in need. He had a very infectious personality and drew people to him. Family was very important to him and he loved them all. Tom had the biggest and strongest heart and was a devout Christian.
Tom is survived by his mother, Betty Sherer (Englewood); wife, Karen Sherer (Wyoming); children, Kevin & Brandy Sherer (Englewood), Heidi (Sherer) & Eric Reyna (Wyoming), and Brian Sherer (Colorado), Rachel and Karah Anderson (Mississippi). Grandchildren, Kevin Jr., Leighlee, Lorina and Lydia Sherer. Amarah, Eric Jr. and Ezra Reyna. His siblings, Denny, Vicki, David, Terry, Laurie and Chris (his favorite). Tom was preceded in death by his brother Bill Wood and his father Jerry Sherer, and brother Bobby Quigley.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held April 9 at 11:00a.m. at Indian Mound Park, Englewood, Florida. If desired, donations may be made to his children and grandchildren c/o Kevin Sherer.
