Time To Vote For Parade Grande Marshall

It’s time for the people of Englewood to speak out once again and place nominations for the Grand Marshall of the 62nd Annual Englewood Pioneer Days Parade. “The position of Grand Marshall is wide open,” explains Chris Phelps, Chairperson of the Pioneer Days Event Committee. “We really want people to tell us who they think should be in this important position.” The Grand Marshall link on the Pioneer Days site, www.englewoodpioneerdays.com, under Parade and Festival allows an easy way to nominate someone for Grand Marshall. The contest closes on Fri. July 20 at midnight. All nominations will be brought to the Englewood Pioneer Days Board for a decision. Please take note that this is not a “voting” contest. If you are nominating someone, be sure to tell us all the information that’s applicable about that person and, especially why they should be Grand Marshall. It doesn’t have to be someone from a “pioneer” family, but whoever it is should have made an impact or done something that shows their love for the Englewood community. Also available on the website are the 2018 Parade and Vendor Application forms. Applications are being accepted, and payment can be made through the web site or by mail. Raymond James was the 2017 Grand Marshall.
