11/8/2018 4:53:00 PM Englewood Clinic To Offer Dental Care
The Englewood Community Care Clinic has achieved their long term goal of providing dental care to the uninsured and working poor in the greater Englewood area. “From the start it has been apparent that many residents in the area cannot afford dental care and we are delighted to finally be able to bring this added layer of services to the community,” said Beth Harrison, Executive Director. “We are grateful to Drs. Alan Davis, Ryan Roberts and Deanne Rife and their staff members for assisting the clinic in launching dental services.” Plans are to provide fillings, extractions and some root canal work to established patients at the Englewood Community Care Clinic located at 6868 San Casa Drive. Patients must be screened for income eligibility as a clinic patient and must not have health or dental insurance, Medicare or Medicaid. Further, patients must be 18-64 years old and residents of either Charlotte or Sarasota counties. For this program, the clinic is in need of more volunteer dentists and dental assistants.
