DetailsLemon Bay Sunrise Rotary Club has announced that Englewood can look forward to enjoying another spectacular firework display on Sunday, July 4th! The skies over Lemon Bay will light up at 9:05pm from the launch site on Blind Pass Beach Park, aka Middle Beach, 7770 Manasota Key Road. Best viewing locations for this free show are by boat in Lemon Bay close to Royal Palm Marina (please keep a safe distance away from launch site.) Manasota Key land epicenter for viewing is the parking lot on Blind Pass Beach Park. On the mainland, any strip of waterfront that can hold a folding chair or blanket from Indian Mound Park up to Lemon Bay Park, including Cherokee Park and the Veterans Memorial Pavilion. The Tom Adams Bridge and the North Manasota Key Bridge provide distant viewing. Because the 2020 fireworks show was cancelled due to the pandemic, the Rotary club has the funds necessary to give area residents a great show to end their holiday celebration and hopes the community will continue to show their support, so future firework shows will retain the title of the “Best Fireworks Display in SW Florida!”
