Bring your child and their favorite stuffed teddy bear for a fun, hands-on experience at our brand-new HCA Florida Wellen Park(sm) Emergency center! Young caregivers will experience what happens in an Emergency Department as they help their plush friends through a special medical journey.

Fun activities include:
• Check-in & ID bracelet for their stuffed animal
• Teddy’s medical check-up
• X-ray exploration
• Diagnosing & treating Teddy’s “boo-boos”
• Tours of the facility
• Ice Cream Truck
• Children and adults alike will get a first look at our state-of-the art emergency facility.

Bonus: The first 100 registered children to attend will receive a FREE teddy bear! Don’t miss this fun and educational event where children and adults will get a first look at our state-of-the art emergency center and get to know your new emergency care team.

When the unexpected happens, you can count on our facility to be here for you. This new emergency room is expected to open in late March, 2025 and will offer 24/7 emergency care. Our board-certified physicians and highly-trained nurses specialize in emergency medicine, diagnosing and treating all emergency conditions including:
• Injuries, such as fractures and lacerations
• Upper respiratory infections
• Stomach or abdominal pain
• Chest pain
• Stroke
