Season Nine Continues with Works by George Perle, Carolyn Chen, Kenji Bunch, and a World Premiere by Paul Mortilla
ensembleNEWSRQ (enSRQ), Sarasota’s innovative chamber music ensemble, continues its ninth season with “Critical Moments”, a compelling program featuring a mix of contemporary and classical influences.
The evening’s repertoire includes George Perle’s energetic “Critical Moments” sextet, alongside intricate string and wind compositions by Carolyn Chen and Kenji Bunch. The program also debuts the world premiere of “Rota Fortunae”, a newly commissioned work by Paul Mortilla written specifically for enSRQ.
Closing the performance, violinist Samantha Bennett will take center stage in Marcos Balter’s captivating “Violin Concerto.”
