Free clothing for children & adults of all ages. The Closet of Hope is open the 1st & 3rd Saturdays from 10am-1pm. ID required. One bag per family. Donations accepted on Thursday mornings at 10am or during Saturday closet hours.
Gulf Cove United Methodist Church, 1100 S. McCall Road, Pt. Charlotte
The Closet of Hope at Gulf Cove United Methodist Church offers free clothing for children and adults of all ages. The Closet is open the first and third Saturdays of the month starting April 6, 2024 (except holidays), from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Individuals must present a photo ID at the door which reflects their residence in Charlotte County or in Englewood, North Port, or Venice in Sarasota County. Families are limited to one bag of clothing each month. Clothing donations can be brought to the Closet on Thursday morning at 10am or during Saturday closet hours, 10am to 1pm.. Gulf Cove UMC (phone 941-697-1747) is located at 1100 S. McCall Road in the Gulf Cove area of Port Charlotte, ¾ mile south of the Myakka River on SR 776.September 08, 2024
