Calling all fellow trash pickers: Please join volunteers at Stump Pass, in partnership with Keep Charlotte Beautiful (KCB), for the Great American Cleanup on Saturday, April 20, 8 to 11am (gate opens at 7:30am) at Stump Pass Beach State Park, 900 Gulf Blvd. Clean-up will be focused on the land and along mangroves and water. Kayaks and SUP are welcome. Meet at the pavilion at 8am to sign in and gather for a brief safety meeting, group photo and basic directions. Consider carpooling or bicycling to the park due to limited parking. Wear closed-toe shoes, and bring a refillable water bottle, hat, sunscreen, work gloves, and possibly bug spray.
