The winner of the Mayor 4 a Day competition will be announced on Friday, August 30 between 5 & 7pm at Rumours Wine Bar, 1807 Englewood Road. Plan to be there to congratulate the winner and enjoy wine & snacks with your friends and the four candidates: Iris Beauguard (Fandango Sanctuary); Laura Roy Fink (The Jubilee Center), Ronnie Jackson (EPIC Community Resource Center); and English Jan Leather (Angel Land Food Forest). Regardless of who will be wearing the Mayor 4 a Day sash and riding in the Pioneer Days parade, the real winners will be the candidates’ designated charities which will receive all the votes (donations) raised by the candidate.
