For the sixth show of their 32nd season Lemon Bay Playhouse, 96 W. Dearborn, will present "Old Love" as their theatrical production to entertain the community. The performances will run from April 24 through May 12. The story spans three decades and half a dozen meetings between Bud, a salesman, and Molly, his boss's wife. One of them is smitten from the very first meeting - the other, let's just say - less so. Curtain time Wednesday through Saturday, 7:30pm and 2pm Sundays. People for Trees, Inc. would like you to plant more trees and will be offering hundreds of 3-gallon native trees for sale at $15 each at the Tree Fair 2019 on Saturday, April 27, 10am – 2pm. Choose from Florida sweetgum, American elm, bald cypress, slash pine, southern red cedar, red maple, dahoon holly and pignut hickory. Attendees will learn the correct way to plant a tree and receive printed instructions. As pictured here, arborists will be doing tree-climbing demonstrations from 10am to noon. A “fairy gathering” at 11am led by Rev. Faerie Elaine Silver and a fairy house exhibit/contest are also planned.
