Violinist SooBeen Lee opens Artist Series Concerts Series
Artist Series Concerts, Sarasota Artist Series presents violinist, SooBeen Lee, the first of several artists to perform this season from Young Concert Artists. Lee and acclaimed collaborative pianist Dina Vainshtein will perform on Sunday, November 7 at 4pm. Their program includes works by Hindemith, Prokofiev, Debussy, Suk and Russian composer Igor Frolov’s “Fantasy on Porgy & Bess”. The Florida International Air Show happening this weekend
The Florida International Air Show takes to the skies in Punta Gorda on Saturday & Sunday, October 16 & 17. Gates open both days at 9am and the show starts at noon. Performers include the F-16 Viper Demo Team, Patty Wagstaff, U.S. Special Operations Command Parachute Team, ChefPitts, SBD Dauntless “Lady in Blue,” and FG1D Corsair.
