Amanda's Picks
This past year, I watched a lot of TV, but even a superhero (in the shows I didn’t watch), wouldn’t have enough time to see everything that was nominated for a 2021 Emmy. A Look At Comedies
Instead of watching the NBC workplace comedy Parks and Recreation a fifth time, I feel it might be time to move on to a new situation comedy. But true comedies are hard to find these days. Fried Pickles and Reclining Seats
It’s unclear what theaters are going to need to do to lure couch potatoes back to the movies. With most films available to stream on their release date, or soon after, at no or low cost to film fans, why would we leave our sofa and ditch our PJs to see a movie on a big screen?

What Amanda’s Watching...
I watch literally zero crime series on TV, maybe the occasional episode of Columbo at midnight on Sunday. I’m not a big fan of murders and autopsies and murders of people who know someone who was murdered. But I am a big fan of actress/singer Queen Latifiah who stars in The Equalizer on CBS.
