A Happy "Tail" for Gunner
Happy Tails! This handsome boy was surrendered to Englewood Animal Rescue Sanctuary (EARS) and it wasn’t long before his foster parents realized he had leg issues. Not even one year old, Lobo could only play or walk for a short period of time before he had to rest. He was diagnosed with a condition that causes his knees to dislocate. Once he is fully grown, approximately a year and a half old, he will be re-evaluated for surgery to correct this issue. That will be this October.
Lobo’s foster parents were amazing and kept the young boy exercised while using caution. The dog park was a favorite spot to meet new friends. Lobo bonded with an adorable golden noodle named Nog and found his Forever Home. Nog’s mom and dad, Michael L’Heraul and Chelly Morrison, had been looking to adopt a brother for him and they knew it was meant to be when Nog and Lobo became best friends. Willing to take on his knee issues and possible rehab after surgery, his parents adopted Lobo who is now named Gunner.
