Dearborn Street Pedigree and Age: Eight-year-old Golden Retriever Likes: Food, especially people food; most humans and dogs; sleeping on the sofa; car rides. Dislikes: Loud noises, especially thunder; taking my heartworm medication (Yuck!) Pet Peeves: People eating and not sharing with me! Long walks (I prefer a sedentary lifestyle). Mom was selected as my new mother at a Golden Retriever rescue. Owner Remarks: Gracie displays all the positive traits of a Golden Retriever but does have a lazy streak when it comes to exercise. A walk should be a “sniffing” adventure and only last a short distance from home.
