Pet Adoption Event Suncoast Humane Society will be holding an adoption event on Saturday, May 27, 10 am to 2 pm, at the Pet Supermarket located in Venice Village, 4181 S. Tamiami Trail, Venice. Volunteers & Fosters Needed
Suncoast Humane Society is looking to add more volunteers and fosters to the Suncoast Humane family. Fosters provide temporary housing for pets awaiting adoption. Some pets need to rehabilitate from illness, injury, abuse, or neglect while others just want a loving home until their forever person finds them. Volunteers also work with animals in the shelter located at 6781 San Casa Drive or adoption centers, doing activities such as walking and playing with dogs, providing socialization for cats in the cattery, and assisting with the care of cats in the satellite adoption centers.
