Whenever we get a chance to walk down to the pass at Stump Pass Beach State Park, we go for it. If our window of opportunity coincides with a good tide and an offshore breeze and an uncrowded weekday, that’s even better. All these points aligned last week and we headed over to the park...

The 50 year fishing tournament

They met 52 years ago and quickly discovered they both really liked fishing. They met in Boulder, Colorado at an art show where Kimball was displaying her fine art and Les was helping his friend move custom furniture in and out of the park. On their first date they discovered their mutual affinity for fishing. That was the moment the tournament began.
