Dearborn St. Memorial Bricks Must Be Claimed Before Removed
Do you have a Memorial Brick in the sidewalks along Dearborn Street? The bricks are being removed as part of the Dearborn Street Improvement project, which will begin late May/early June. If you have a brick that you would like to save, please contact the Englewood CRA office at 473•9795 or send an email to englewood@scgov.net. The deadline for reclaiming a memorial brick is Friday, April 9. You can have your brick relocated to the Historic Green Street Church, the Lemon Bay Woman’s Club or the Englewood Veterans Memorial walkway. You are also welcome to pick up the brick for your own use. All unclaimed bricks will become the property of the contractor doing the removal.
