Fireworks Donations Needed

4th of July Fireworks
Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary puts on the 4th of July Fireworks each year thanks to the generous donations from business and individuals. This year’s $30,000 display will be the largest in Southwest Florida. Donations are down and the club is looking for any and all donations. Major donors ($1,000 or more) get VIP treatment, but any and all donations are needed and appreciated. To make your tax deductible donation, make your check out to the Lemon Bay Sunrise Community Trust and put Fireworks in the memo. Mail your check to Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary, PO Box 897, Englewood, FL 34295-0897. For more information, contact Mike Looney at 468•9419.

Englewood Firecracker Festival
The Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary is proud to sponsor the Light Up Lemon Bay fireworks spectacular, on July 4th and the 4th annual Englewood Firecracker Festival on Dearborn St. For the past 3 years the theme was Cajun Fest, but it has been replaced with the Firecracker Festival, our true Independence Day heritage! Join the party on Dearborn St. for an all American day of family fun, waterslides, all American food, plenty of cold beverages, with vendors lining Dearborn Street. The day starts at 10am and continues through the fireworks. Live music featuring Englewood’s own Kate Keys at 10am, followed by the sensational Ellie Lee and the Blues Fury at 12:30pm, and then at 4:30pm, direct from Tennessee, The Mulch Brothers. Get ready  for a great day, and celebrate our country’s Independence! For Information Contact Ray LaBadie, 468•3050.
