Clarke Pressly, representing the Venice Area Historical Society, will be the speaker at the 5:15pmTuesday,March 19 dinner meeting of the Business and Professional Women of Englewood and Venice (BPWEV). Mr. Pressly started as a volunteer with the Venice Museum and Archives and that activity led to his membership in the Venice Area Historical Society. Clarke has served on the Society Board, including roles as Vice President and President. He is currently the Chairman of the Society’s Speakers Bureau, Chairman of the Plaque Committee, and is also serving a second term as President. If you would like to learn more about the interesting Venice area history, bring your questions to the dinner meeting, as a Q & A session will follow his presentation.
