The Back Pack Ministry, which provides weekend food for children of low-income families or homeless who attend Englewood Elementary School has formed a new community partnership between the Jubilee Center at St. David’s Episcopal Church and Community Presbyterian Church. This partnership was formed to be able to continue the Back Pack Ministry, which originated at the Jubilee Center by Pat Knox, former Administrator. Kid-friendly food is supplied by All Faiths Food Bank and supported by the Jubilee Center. The backpacks are delivered every two weeks throughout the school year. The ministry will be delivering over 240 backpacks every two weeks during this school year (up from 140 last year.) The need is there!
