Video series about Alzheimer's Disease offered

The Senior Advocacy Ministry (SAM) of Englewood United Methodist Church and                                         The Alzheimer’s Association, SW FL Gulf Chapter present: 
All About the Brain
A free educational video series will be held at Englewood United Methodist Church (main sanctuary), 700 E Dearborn St., Englewood, FL.  Seminars will be followed by a question/answer period by our presenter: Lisa Fink, RN, CDP, who is also a volunteer community educator for                               The Alzheimer’s Association SW FL Chapter.
Wed./ January 8, 2020   –  3pm- 4:30pm:                UNDERSTANDING ALZHEIMER’S                      AND DEMENTIA
Wed./ January 15, 2020  - 3pm – 4:30pm:           TEN WARNING SIGNS OF ALZHEIMER’S                                                                                                                               Understanding normal memory changes
Wed./ January 22, 2020 – 3pm – 4:30pm:                HEALTHY LIVING FOR THE BRAIN                          AND BODY – News on the latest research!
No RSVP needed to attend the seminar only; open to the public, so bring a friend!
However… there will be a delicious, hot and home cooked dinner in EUMC’s Fellowship Hall at 5pm, immediately following each Wednesday presentation. Stay and join us… We’d love to meet you!
The suggested donation per meal is $7.00                                                                                                              (First time guests to EUMC are invited to enjoy one complimentary dinner each and great companionship!)
If you’d like to stay for dinner (or take a meal to go),  you must RSVP
Call 941-460-0395  and leave the date(s) of attendance for dinner, along with the number of meals needed, your name, best contact number by the Monday before each seminar (or all at once!)                    
The NEXT Senior Advocacy Ministry (SAM) meeting is Wed., Jan. 22nd  2020, 1:30 to 2:45pm in Room #100 located at Englewood United Methodist Church -  700 East Dearborn Street, Englewood… free & open to the public!    Learn about advocating for your needs as a senior!
