Mark your calendar so you don’t miss the SOLID 7 Dice Run on Saturday, November 7, starting at Bert’s Black Widow Harley, 2224 El Jobean Road in Port Charlotte. Sign up 9am; run begins at 10:30am. The object is to roll a seven at each of the five stops and the person with the most sevens wins. Afterwards enjoy “Storm Warning” and free beer, burgers and dogs at Bert’s. Entry fee is $10, $10 per passenger and $10 for extra dice cards. You can win a Combat Vet handmade wooden flag donated by Flags of Valor or a full day boat rental donated by Gasparilla Marina. Tickets are $10 for each raffle. Mitch Mesenburg, whose son, Senior Airman XinHua Mesenburg, committed suicide in January 2019 has partnered with Mission 22 for this fundraiser and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Mission 22. Mission 22 provides treatment programs to veterans for Post-Traumatic Stress, Traumatic Brain Injury and other issues they might be facing. The name comes from the 22 veterans a day that commit suicide. For more information or sponsorship opportunities, contact Mesenberg at 740•1842
