West Dearborn Construction Has Begun

Construction has begun for the West Dearborn Street Improvement Project with the closing of the intersection of Elm/Magnolia and W. Dearborn. Re-construction of that intersection will take approximately 30 days, depending on the weather. The contractor, Wright Construction Group, will continue moving east towards SR 776 one block at a time, constructing the improvements on the north side and then the south side of W. Dearborn, and then moving one block again. Upon reaching SR776 (S. Indiana Avenue), they will then circle back to the Elm/Magnolia intersection with a target date at the end of April 2022 and continue construction – moving west to Old Englewood Road. The traffic circulation plan can be seen by clicking here. The Old Englewood Village Association (OEVA) will continue to update progress going forward as soon as there is new information. Follow OEVA for continued construction updates on Facebook.
