Englewood Country Liners brings holiday cheer to Brookdale
Englewood Country Liners (ECL) recently brought holiday cheer to patients at Brookdale Rotonda.  The merry group presented a variety of line dances to holiday music and other lively tunes. The patients enjoyed the spirited entertainment accented with jingle bells and festive attire.  ECL is fun and community minded non-profit club that also helps out local charities.  The public who know basic dance steps are welcome to join them every Thursday morning from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 701 North Indiana Avenue, Englewood.  For further information, contact Nancy Vargo, President at (941) 474-6027 nvarg064@gmail.com or visit http://www.facebook.com/englewoodcountryliners

Swim Mart holds fashion show to benefit Toys For Tots
Swim Mart hosted a fashion show on December 11 to collect toys for local Toys for Tots program. Guests brought an unwrapped toy and enjoyed viewing some of the 2020 swimwear collection Swim Mart has in stock. Linda Zenga, store manager said, “We are very grateful for the Toys for Tots donations and thank all who attended.” Swim Mart is located at 1500 Placida Road in Merchants Crossing Shopping Center. Janice Morris models a cover-up while Madison Oliver looks on.
