Join Fellowship Church For A Day Of Music
Fellowship Church, 140 Rotonda Blvd. West, invites everyone to a day of music on Sunday, February. 17. Singer/songwriter Jerry Salley (shown here) will be performing two full free concerts at the 8:30am and 10:30am worship services. Jerry has written eight #1 hits and has been featured himself as a soloist on the Grand Ole Opry. Complimentary refreshments will be served at 9:45am. Free childcare available. In the evening return to hear the group Link Union in a free concert at 5pm followed by complimentary refreshments. Tappercise To Perform Final Show
March 2 is the final major show for the Tappercise dance show to benefit Tidewell Hospice. Sharon deMarc started doing the show in honor of her mother and former dance partner, Flory Meyrowitz, who came up with the plan. “I didn’t expect we would do it for 22 years, “ Sharon said. “When we started, it was a couple hundred dollars in a jar.” On Jan. 22, Tappercise presented Tidewell a check for $58,364, representing the funds raised during the previous 21 years of dancing.
