Music City on Dearborn to Benefit F.A.M.E.

F.A.M.E. (Friends for the Advancement of Musical Education) is gearing up for Music City November 9 and 10 on the Dearborn Street Plaza. Enjoy dozens of bands and live performers during the musical weekend. The bands & their times are Friday 5-6:30pm The Echo Band, 7-8:30pm American Made, 9-11pm Echo Matrix Band. On Saturday 11:30am-12:30pm School Bands, 1-2:15pm McCarthy Band, 2:45-4pm Smoked Mullet Band, 6:15-7:30pm CopperHead, 8-9:15pm Maiden Cain, 9:45-11pm Twinkle. Johnny Awesome, LM Acoustics, Elderly Brothers, Kenny Rose and Saxy Blues will be playing on a separate stage during the breaks for nonstop music. There will be food, merchandise and a silent auction. Proceeds go to purchase musical instruments for local music students in area schools. There will be a Boat of Booze raffle including a dingy with some chasers. Admission is still free. Items for the silent auction are greatly appreciated.
