The Sarasota Jazz Project Orchestra presents “Swinging at the Cinema,” featuring acclaimed vocalist Lisanne Lyons, at the Cultural Center Theater, 2280 Aaron St. Port Charlotte on Monday, Nov. 19 at 7pm. Lisanne is a Sarasota HS alum and was a featured soloist with Air Force bands worldwide while on active duty. This concert focuses on the importance of music in the movies with a selection of “Best Song of the Year” Academy Award winners and nominees.
