Comedy for a Cause is going improv
Kim Parks of the Englewood Chamber of Commerce will be competing.
Kim Parks of the Englewood Chamber of Commerce will be competing.

This year’s Comedy for a Cause, the Charlotte Players’ premier fund-raising event, has a new format. The event involves community and business leaders presenting improvisational skits in the manner of “Whose Line is It Anyway?” to raise money for the Players’ programs. The 2020 version will be held at the Langdon Theater and broadcast live on the Players’ Facebook page from 7 to 9pm on Friday, September 25. Participating again this year is the Englewood Chamber of Commerce Membership Coordinator – Kim Parks (pictured here.) Support Kim by making a donation towards her online goal of $1,000. If you would like to make a donation for Kim or another competitor, go to www.charlotteplayers.org, click on Comedy for a Cause 2020 and select the participant you wish to support. For questions, call Lori Wagner-Ryan at 255•1022 or lori.wagner-ryan@charlotteplayers.org.
