Charlotte Players presents “You Should Be So Lucky” at the Langdon Playhouse, Friday, May 14 to Sunday, May 23 at 7:30pm on Fridays & Saturdays and 2pm on Sundays. The play is a contemporary Cinderella story set in Greenwich Village, reminiscent of the class screwball comedies of the 1930s. Christopher, a shy & eccentric young electrologist, helps an elderly millionaire when he faints in the street. Touched by his generous spirit, the millionaire becomes his benefactor and sends him off to a charity ball where he finds his true love. The electrologist receives one half of the estate when the millionaire dies but is challenged by the daughter of the deceased. Tickets are $22 (+1.44 fee) for adults and $11 (+1.44 fee) for students and may be purchased at https://charlotteplayers.org. The Langdon Playhouse is located at 1182 Market Circle, Pt. Charlotte.
