"You Know I Can't Hear You When the Water's Running" now showing at LBPH

Lemon Bay Playhouse, 96 W. Dearborn Street, takes you through four separate one-acts in “You Know I Can’t Hear You When the Water’s Running” from Wednesday, November 30 – Sunday December 18. “The Shock of Recognition” breaks in on a difference of opinions in the producer’s office. “The Footsteps of Doves” tells of a married couple of 25 years who go bed shopping and run into a young blonde. “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” is light and humorous, but, at its base, it is serious and touching as it shows parents discussing the sex education of their almost adult children. “I’m Herbert” is a sketch about two old people sitting on a porch in rocking chairs and talking. Each story is comedic in its own way but does have some adult language and suggestions. Curtain time is 7:30pm Wednesday through Saturday and 2pm on Sundays. Reserved seat tickets are $25. Student tickets are available at $18 each. Visit www.lemonbayplayhouse.com or you can also call the box office Monday-Friday, 10am to 2pm, at 941•475•6756. Cast Photo: Standing (L-R): Bob La Salle, Sue Mayer, Dallas Rivers, Mike Gilbert, Drew Washburn. Seated (L-R): Donna Hadley, Jim Manns, Jill Schroeder, Charlotte Crowley, Jill Houghton.
