3/24/2023 5:13:00 PM The Rotary Club of Englewood's Annual Fine Arts Festival is back this weekend
It’s time for The Rotary Club of Englewood’s Annual 41st Fine Arts Festival on Saturday, March 25th and Sunday, March 26 from 10am to 4pm. Englewood’s beautiful Dearborn Street comes to life with stunning original artwork and live music. Every imaginable handmade item is here – fine jewelry, art glass, paintings, photography, ceramics, sculpture and more. In addition to the art displays, the festival will feature food & beverages from local restaurants & vendors, live music, and shopping throughout the popular Dearborn Street stores. This year’s feature artist is Ron Deel, a Florida artist whose subjects of choice are tropical wildlife, beach scenes, and things that catch his interest. He uses “Bright Hard-Edged Colors” in the Sudo-Realistic style and paints in oil. Ron’s niche is populated with swamp, shore and water life, sea turtles, manatees, Koi fish, green frogs, crabs, and star fish. The art show is free to the public, but Rotarians will be asking for a $2 donation that benefits the Englewood Rotary Youth Foundation.
