The Artist Colony Gallery will reopen the 1st and 3rd Wednesday in October. The 2023-24 season application is available, and artists are selecting the dates they want to set up their galleries at Pioneer Plaza, 325 W. Dearborn Street. Established and new artists are invited to send three photos to Sydney at [email protected] as part of the application process. Artists select and pay for seven of 14 dates in order to hold last year’s $30 fee. Artists that choose to pay-as-they-attend will pay $40. The Artist Colony season is from October-April, always the first and third Wednesday from 10 am to 3 pm, with the Artist Colony Ensemble playing part of the day. Guests are invited to bring their chairs, visit with the artists, and enjoy the Ensemble. Enjoy your summer but think ahead for fall and the Artist Colony Gallery on Dearborn Street. Artists such as Penny work on their artwork during the event.
