Wiseguys Barbershop celebrates a year

Wiseguys Barbershop celebrated their delayed one-year anniversary on August 13th with a ribbon cutting and plenty of fun. Candance Stevens, co-owner with Louis Giunta, stated, “Our first year has been incredible and we have been amazed by the support by the community for our barbershop.” Part of their business plan is to give back to the community and that was reflected during the celebration. The Dunk Your Barber opportunity, raffle, and Spin the Wheel by WENG radio, raised funds for Englewood Helping Hand (EHH) and EHH Backpacks for Hope program. The winner of free haircuts for a year was Tim Thiel. Wiseguys also has been selling T-shirts with the money going to provide free haircuts for EHH clients (50 so far.) A bubble gum machine was opened and the money inside ($90) was matched by Wiseguys and given to the Boys & Girls Club of Englewood. Wiseguys is located at 12717 Gulfstream Blvd, Suite 5, if you would like to check out a business that supports the community that supports them.
