Beginneres and Improvers Line Dancing Class Offered
Line dance with Eve! Everyone is welcome at the Beginners and Improvers class held every Thursday, 9:30-11:30am at the American Legion, 3436 Indiana Road, in Rotonda. It’s great fun, good exercise and you don’t need any experience. Dance to a variety of music from a waltz to Rod Stewart and current dances. The Lemon Bay Garden Club will be holding a Rummage and Plant Sale at their clubhouse, 480 Yale St. (corner of Yale and Cedar.) Preview sale is Thursday, January 23, 10am to 1pm. Admission $3. Englewood Democratic Club Contributes To Meals On Wheels
As part of the Englewood Democratic Club’s community outreach effort for November, the club chose to donate $250 to Meals on Wheels Englewood. Club representatives Joanne St. Amand, Secretary and Peter Imhoff, Nominating Committee Chair, presented the check to Jo-Ann MiMaggio, Meals on Wheels Office Manager. Ms. DiMaggio commented that the money could not have come at a better time as their refrigerator and freezer are 24 years old and one is leaking.
