Easter Basket Distribution
Englewood United Methodist Church’s big annual egg hunt the day before Easter will continue to offer great fun and prizes for everyone; however, themed baskets are being distributed early as an “Easter Basket Blessing” event. Any family adult is invited to drop in on a special distribution day to receive one free basket per child. Distribution will occur at the 700 E. Dearborn Street, Lampp Office Building in Room 103, between 6-8pm on Friday, April 12; or between 8-11am on Saturday, April 13. Attention all kids and parents! Fellowship Church of Englewood would like to invite the community to a free Easter Egg Hunt Eggstravanza on Saturday, April 13, 10am, at the Fellowship Church Campus located at the 140 Rotonda Blvd. West. There will be over 50,000 Easter eggs! Face Painting, Clowns, Games, Prizes, lots of Candy, Cookies, Pizza & Soft Drinks. Six bikes as Grand Prizes and 6 Easter baskets will be given away. Easter Egg Festival
On Saturday, April 20, at 10am, families are invited to Gulf Cove United Methodist Church for an Easter Festival. At 10am, children who are toddlers through age 12 will each receive an empty basket and take part in an Easter egg hunt. After the hunt, there will be food, a bounce house, and crafts! All are welcome to this fun Easter Festival! Gulf Cove UMC is located at 1100 McCall Road in Port Charlotte (Gulf Cove area.) EUMC Egg Hunt
Saturday, April 20, Englewood United Methodist Church invites all children of the community to the grand Annual Easter Egg Hunt with an adult and should bring their baskets for collecting. Festivities start in Fellowship Hall, 700 E. Dearborn, at 9am with free registration, crafts and games, a climbing wall and bounce house, popcorn, cotton candy, golden egg prizes, and live music by the Fusion by Fire praise band. Egg hunts by age group will launch from there starting at 10:30am and end at noon. Preregistration is available online and strongly encouraged. Great Seashell Hunt
Bring the kids and join the Barrier Island Parks Society on Wednesday, April 17 at 11am at the Port Boca Grande Lighthouse and Museum (880 Belcher Rd, Boca Grande) for this eggstarordinary event. Kids love the Annual Great Seashell Hunt because it’s not only fun but educational too! They’ll learn fascinating facts about barrier island shells and then the hunt is on to find them on the beach and turn them in for awesome prizes! Must RSVP at barrierislandparkssociety.org.
