Scouts Prepare For "Living The Dream" Themed Parade

Fire fighter, police officer, astronaut, and teacher are a few of the professions that represent what local Girl Scouts are dreaming of becoming when they grow up. In preparation for the Pioneer Days Parade, girls from Troops 330, 339, 607, 608 and 617 painted cardboard cutouts of people in various uniforms and attire to show what “Living the Dream” may look like for them in a few years. Girl Scout Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes will participate in the parade. Pictured with the cutouts are Aubriana, Natalie, Violet, Chloe, Cali, Rylee, Abby, Sianna, Havana, Devyn, Gaia, Carrissah, Alana, Arabella, Kenzie, Olivia, Maggie, Coral, Ayva and Brielle. Adult volunteers coordinating the Girl Scouts’ parade entry include Kathy Van Note, Trish Chamberlain. For more information about Girl Scouts, visit www.gsgcf.org or call Shayenne Nelson, Community Manager at Girl Scouts of Gulfcoast at 921•5358 ext. 406.
