On behalf of the Lemon Bay High School Athletic Department, congratulations to the April 2023 Athletes of the Month: Parker Zautcke and Alexander Truisi.

A Sophomore on the Girls Varsity Tennis team, Parker Zautcke played #1 Singles and #1 Doubles all season. She went 16-3 in Singles and 15-2 in Doubles. As District Champion, she qualified for the Florida State Tennis Finals in Singles and Doubles. Parker won her first round in Singles at the state tournament and then lost to the #1 Seed in the next round. In Doubles, she and her partner Rosey Lowder lost a close match (including a tie-break set) in the first round at the state finals.

Senior Alexander Truisi, Boys Weightlifting, won a Regional Championship and two State Championships during the month of April. He is a good student, great teammate, and a better person. He has worked tirelessly to achieve the goals he has set for himself.
