Mark J. Carpenter

Mark Jay Carpenter, age 64, of Englewood, Florida passed away Monday, March 4th, after a short illness. Mark was born on 10-19-54 in Hartford, Ct, son to the late George and Michaelle Carpenter of Brookfield, Ma. He is survived by his best friend and the love of his life, his wife of 17 years, Lydia Adams. He is also survived by his brother Daniel and his wife Brenda Carpenter of Ware, MA, a sister Leslie and her husband Jeffrey Blodgett of Thompson, Ct and his youngest sister Janis and her husband Clifford Fontaine of Brookfield, MA. He also leaves behind his niece Jacqueline Fontaine and her children Jillian Hubbard and Jason Parzych and a nephew Ryan Carpenter and his children Mason, Abigail and Dillon Carpenter. Mark grew up in Southbridge, MA and attended Southbridge schools. He was a valued employee for many years as a T.V. Data Researcher for Nielsen Data T.V. Ratings Company. He married Lydia on May 8, 2002 and they made their home for many years in Port Clyde, ME and Damariscotta, ME, before heading south and settling in beautiful Englewood, FL seven years ago. Mark had many talents but one of his best was as a master model ship builder as his models were truly intricate works of art! Mark will be missed by all for his incredible sense of humor and ability to make people laugh. He truly was a sweet, caring and kind man who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. The burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
