Kenneth B. Frook

Ken was born February 11, 1932, in Cadillac, Michigan, to Floyd and Etta Frook. He was the middle child of seven. He graduated from Mesick High School, where he played several sports. After graduation, he attended and graduated from Grand Rapids School of the Bible and Music, and went on to attend Calvin College until he went into the Air Force. He was stationed at a radar base in Okinoshima, Japan, and then Seneca, South Dakota.

When he got out of the Air Force, he returned to Grand Rapids, Michigan, where his parents lived. He was asked to teach a high school Sunday School class where he met a member of his class named Suzie Rowe. Long story short, they were married almost 62 years ago.

Three children arrived, Peggy, Brian, and Kevin, and two daughters-in-law were added - Brian's Jane, and Kevin's Jackie. He has 6 grandchildren and 10 and seven-ninths great grandchildren, one of whom is with him in heaven.

After all three children were born, Ken and family moved to Upland, Indiana, where Ken completed his education and graduated from Taylor University. He moved to Florida in 1980.

He has taught school, was the first principal of Venice Christian School, and was a building contractor. He enjoyed Bible study, music, gardening, and spending time at the cottage in Michigan.
