In Loving Memory of Isabel Dolores Kisiday

Isabel Dolores Kisiday, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and remarkable friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, August 20, 2024, of natural causes in Englewood, Florida.

Born on June 20, 1930, in Ambridge, Pennsylvania, Isabel led a life full of love, warmth, and dedication. She was the cherished daughter of Caesar and Felice Aversa.

Isabel had a wonderful and varied work history. She began her career as an administrative assistant at the county mental health center, where she was known for her dedication and efficiency. She then took a position as the executive assistant to the Director of Quality Control of the Shippingport Nuclear Power Plant. Isabel's ability to manage across the organization and keep the team focused earned her the respect and admiration of her colleagues.

Isabel was not only dedicated to her career but also had a vibrant personal life. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to all who met her. She had a passion for dancing and later in life, she competed in ballroom-style events in Florida where she has resided for the past 34 years. She brought grace and elegance to every dance floor upon which she competed.

Isabel possessed a unique ability to converse with anyone, always making them feel special in her presence. She maintained close contact with all her children and grandchildren, never missing a detail of their lives. Her exceptional memory and attention to detail made her a great reservoir of family knowledge, a living archive of cherished memories and stories. She was also an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and never had a kind word for Tom Brady.

Isabel's presence will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kindness, wisdom, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on the hearts of her family and friends.

Isabel was preceded in death by her dearly beloved husband, Andrew, her brother Fred, and her sisters Blanche and Celeste. Her legacy, however, lives on through the family she cherished deeply.

Isabel is survived by her children Andrew (Cheryl Black), Joseph (Cindy Todd), JoAnn (Richard Beck), Thomas (Carmel Lucarelli), Diane (Bill Gross, deceased), and Fred (Christine Covell). Her nurturing spirit and infectious joy will also be remembered by her 19 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, with one more on the way, all of whom she adored beyond measure.

In accordance with Isabel's wishes, a Funeral Mass will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church of Englewood, on Friday, August 23, at 8:15 a.m.

In lieu of flowers St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church Food Pantry, 5265 Placida Road, Englewood, FL 34224.
