Ellen M. Stuke- Hann

Ellen M. Stuke-Hann passed away peacefully on July 12, 2024, after a short-term illness. She was born on July 22, 1948, in Dorchester Massachusetts, the oldest daughter of Robert E. and Mary (Monahan) Stuke of Roslindale Massachusetts. She graduated from Saint Clare High School. Ellen moved to Englewood Florida in 1991, close to her father who moved there a year prior.

Ellen became a licensed hairdresser and had a natural born talent for art. She created many paintings that were shared in the Englewood Art Guild. Her paintings were loved by many who had the opportunity to view her beautiful artful creations. She had many other artful talents such as ceramics and the interior designs of her homes.

She was the devoted wife of the late John F. (Jack) Hann whom she lost in 2012. Ellen leaves behind her loving children Edward R. Bellardino daughter-in-law Lisa Bellardino and grandchildren Emily R. Bellardino, Alyssa G. Bellardino, and Jenna P. Bellardino of Middleborough MA, Maureen D. Bellardino of Port Charlotte FL, Peggy J. Hinton her partner Justin House and grandson Leland J. House of Port Charlotte FL, John W. Bellardino and daughter-in-law Tanya Bellardino and grandson Christian Bellardino of Warner Robbins GA, her brothers Robert E. Stuke Jr, John Rowell, and Michael Rowell, predeceased by her sisters Margaret (Peggy) Dolan and Joanne Rowell, as well as many nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed traveling with her late husband and her friends as well as playing bingo and meeting up with friends at the local VFW Post and Eagles Club in Englewood, FL. She also bar tendered at local veteran’s fellowship organizations in the Englewood area. She will be tremendously missed by friends and family especially the affectionately named “Widowed Wives Club”.

A committal service for Ellen will be held Friday, July 19, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Gulf Pines Memorial Park, 2401 Englewood Rd, Englewood, FL 34223.
