Sea Grape Gallery in Punta Gorda announces their featured artists for October: Donna Pape, oil painter, and Nancy VanTassell, jewelry artist. Donna Pape followed her desire to paint by studying at the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts & the Art Institute of Chicago. She has a special inspiration in the beauty of nature and also now focuses on creating paintings of the colorful tourist attractions in the area.

Nancy VanTassell’s early art was in the paper art world creating altered books & rubberstamping. After retirement, she decided to focus on her love for jewelry making, using wire weaving and semi-precious stones & metals. She also teaches jewelry skills.
