<p>Dearborn Street was hustling and bustling with activity. The energy? All about Wednesdays@5, back for its 91st round on March 18, 2026. This series has been a local treasure, as the courtyard at the Old Florida Outdoor Center and Gallery transforms into the town’s living room for a few hours.</p>

<p>While the crowd settled in, ready for the music, some folks with folding chairs, others were just kicking back under the palm trees. Silvano Stasolla and Craig Manning handled guitars, John R. Munn laid down the bass groove, and Joe Licinski kept everything moving on drums. Two hours of live music, toes tapping, and folks sharing nods and smiles from 5 to 7 p.m.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="1024" height="768" src="https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-2-24-1024x768.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72451" srcset="https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-2-24-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-2-24-300x225.jpg 300w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-2-24-768x576.jpg 768w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-2-24.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption"><strong>Kicking back, enjoying the music and taking in the Englewood vibes.</strong></figcaption></figure>

<p>Now, here’s what is new: The Portly Pirate food truck rolled out, and it is a hit, with people raving about the smashburgers and those crisp, over-the-top fries. It’s a change from the usual routine when you bring your own snacks. Now, you’ve got pro options, but no one’s stopping you from packing a picnic if that’s your vibe. The only rule? Outside drinks are a no-go as the Bird Bar inside the gallery started pouring cold beers, wine, and canned cocktails.&nbsp;</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img decoding="async" width="960" height="958" src="https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72452" srcset="https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11.jpg 960w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11-300x300.jpg 300w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11-150x150.jpg 150w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11-768x766.jpg 768w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11-510x510.jpg 510w, https://englewoodreview.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/photo-3-11-160x160.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 960px) 100vw, 960px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption"><strong>The Portly Pirate</strong></figcaption></figure>

<p>The best part? It all runs on community energy. Wednesdays@5 stays free, powered by local donations and support. Folks have called it “Englewood’s best-kept secret.” This is a place where you can really listen, not just shout over a game and bar noise.</p>

<p>Spring means the music keeps flowing, not just here but all over town. On Wednesdays at five, under those leafy trees, there’s a real pulse to the place. If you ask anyone who’s been, they’ll tell you: It’s the sound of Englewood at its best.</p>
