On Tuesday, June 2, 2026, a sharp-eyed resident saw the pair riding the missing go-kart down Keyway Road and responded to a Facebook post from the owner’s mother. She alerted the police, who immediately investigated.

When officers found the suspects on Keyway Road with the stolen go-kart, they questioned the pair. Przyuski and Mitchell claimed they believed someone had “abandoned” the go-kart. But after checking the traffic cameras, police saw them loading the go-kart into their truck, piling other items on top to hide it. That footage told a different story.

Later that evening, the family picked up their go-kart just before midnight. The entire ordeal started with a young boy who rode the go-kart to Indian Mounds Park in Englewood. He parked it and walked to the water to fish. When he returned, his go-kart had vanished.

Police interviewed witnesses at the scene. They recalled seeing an older man and a woman arrive, grab the go-kart, and throw it into the bed of what looked like an older, dark F-150 Ford before speeding away. Witnesses described these two watching the boy, waiting until he left, then swooping in to take the go-kart, later riding it on Keyway Road.

Thanks to the witnesses providing information and fast action, the go-kart is back home.
