Holy Week at Gulf Cove UMC

Gulf Cove United Methodist Church wishes everybody a spiritual and healthy Easter Season, and invites you to their worship services during Holy Week. Their Maundy Thursday Last Supper Service will be held on April 2 at 5:00 p.m.; please bring a simple potluck meal to share, but if you cannot, come anyway. Their Good Friday Tenebrae Service will be held on April 3 at 6:00 p.m.; in this ancient service, darkness will be increased by gradually extinguishing candles, to symbolize the coming darkness of Jesus’ death. Their Sunday Easter services will be held on April 5; a Sunrise meditative service will start at 6:45 a.m. (please bring a chair and bug spray); the Easter message can be heard at 8:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. with traditional music, or at 9:30 a.m. with contemporary music.
